OH MY GOD! I almost hit another angle of the decade liao..
24 May ~It's my birthday..... Just another ordinary day to go on...nothing to shout about...
Somehow my buddy, Stacy threw me a surprise b'day celebration. I was touched...
After work, she and her boyfriend, Gary rushed down to my place picked me up, we went for a late dinner at Steak Out. She even bought me an utterly yummy strawberry cake!! killing me softly!! So sweet of her!!

We had pan fried fillet of cod fish with butter sauce (stacy), mexican chicken with pasta (gary) and sizzling combo platter. **Burp** very filling~~
After dinner, cake cutting moment was approaching...Yayy!! I saw my lovely b'day cake!! So excited oh!! Stacy was busy lighting up the candles while Gary was busy video camwhore. * giggle* Of coz i was snapping from aside there.

I saw a FERRARI!!

Some day in the future when Paul is finally married with a son, erm lets say his son, Ben, which is currently 5 years old.

One day Paul brought his son to a car/automobile show, that is where Ben see a bright Red Ferrari car for the 1st time. Even though Ben is only 5 years old but he love this car. Paul is smiling realising his son seems to share his passion on cars.

Paul: Son, this is The Ferrari.

Ben: Dad, what is The Ferrari?

Paul: You are too young but remember this, Ferrari car is alwas in bright red in color and there is always a horse on the car.

Ben: *nods - signalling he understands Paul's explanations*

The week after that Paul, Paul's wife and Ben was heading towards an resort for holiday. They were driving along the highway when Ben is jumping up & down and screams in excitement.

Ben: DAD! DAD!! I saw a Ferrari !!

Paul: * look at the right side mirror, the left mirror and back mirror*

Paul: Where Ben WHERE?

Ben: HERE HERE!! DAD a Ferrari !! It's overtaking us!! on your right !!! THEREEE!!

Paul: * look to the righ with excitement hoping to see his all time favorite car in action*

Then he finally saw the car overtaking him.

My late dinner~~

Today got back home bit late, found chicken breast inside my deary fridge, decided to cook a simple dish to feed my stomach. Oh yeah!! i know it was bit late yo..But who care, i was craving for food!!
Firstly, sliced the chicken breast into fillet, hmm...not so thinly slice, just nice to bite!
Then marinated with sesame oil, bit pepper powder, nam yu (red fermented beancurd), pinch of fine sugar and corn flour.
Heat the pan, pour some oil.... dip the marinated chicken fillet with 'korean flour' batter.... deep fried 'em.. wow! smell so damn nice!!!~~~~
Then served the deep fried nam yu chicken fillet with mixed green salad (lolo bianda, lolo rossa, butter lettuce, romaine lettuce), dash some balsamico dressing for salad if you prefer some juice. Voila! my awesome 'late' dinner is ready to serve!!!!

chicken fillet and marination

Deep fried with 'korean flour' batter dip

Golden brown crispy nam yu chicken fillet

YUMMILICIOUS nam yu chicken fillet salad!!!!~~~~~~

I indulged myself with the chicken salad while watching my favourite TV show 'Prison Break'.

I've Learned....keep pondering..

I've learned...
That life is like a roll of toilet paper, the closer it gets to the end, it faster it goes.

I've learned...
That we should be glad God doesn't give us everything we ask for.

I've learned...
That it's those small daily happenings that make life so spectacular.

I've learned...
That under everyone's hard shell is someone who wants to be appreciated and loved.

I've learned...
That all the teaching didn't do it all in one day, what makes me think i can?

I've learned...
That to ignore the facts does not change the facts.

FEAR!

"Why is the rum gone???"
Sounds familiar? Yeah...it's from Pirates of Caribbean 3 ~ at World's End.
I've watched this movie 2 days ago, can't wait...but i almost fall asleep in the cinema, why? perhaps i was too tired and some of scenes may be bit boring. Laugh my ass off! P.O.C 3 is a long movie, almost took me 3 hours sat inside the cinema. I would still prefer part 2, part 3 seems bit slow beat...
I like some of the quotes from Pirates of Caribbean 1, 2 & 3 (mind you, i can't remember all of 'em ..:P)

Jack Sparrow: I love this song. Really bad eggs. Ooh.

Jack Sparrow: Parleley, parlelellyleloooo, par le nee, partner, par... snip, parsley...
Ragetti: Parley?
Jack Sparrow: That's the one. Parley. Parley.
Pintel: Parley? Damn to the depths whatever man what thought of "Parley".
Jack Sparrow: That would be the French.

Jack Sparrow: Me? I'm dishonest, and a dishonest man you can always trust to be dishonest. Honestly. It's the honest ones you want to watch out for, because you can never predict when they're going to do something incredibly... stupid.

Will Turner: You cheated.
Jack Sparrow: Pirate.

Jack Sparrow: " Did no ONE come to save me just because they missed me?"
"Why should i sail with any of you? four of you tried to kill me in the past. One of you succeeded."

Davy Jones: " JACK SPAR-ROW!!! How much do you FEAR DEATH???!!!"

It seems pirates would not fear of DEATH!
Do you fear of death? I guess majority of us do fear of death.

Most of us have reached defining points in our lives where we pause to question where we are heading?

Any number of things can lead to this - for instance: job frustrations, illness, financial woes or breaks in relationships.

We reach the crossroads and wonder which road to take. some choose the hard way, a path less-travelled, with a determination to change their lives, while others prefer to return to what they know the best - their life as it was, or their comfort zone, if you will.

What exactly is it that compels some to change their lives and strive for greatness come what may, while others choose to stand still?
One believes FEAR is the number one reason that prevents people from achieving greatness. Don't you think so?
However, reasons that most of these fears are not even real. (I doubt it)
They are purely mental obstacles - we pick up as we journey through life. Having said that, on the other side of your fears is your best life. Behind every door of fear lies a precious gift.
Don't run away from your fears, run towards them. The best amongst us always do.

Did you ever ask yourself some of the big questions in life...
Why am i here?
What am i meant to do?
What are my gifts and passions?
How do i want my life to be?
Erm.... The definition of success is living your life according to your own terms
You have to live life on your own terms and be true to yourself. On your death bed, you are not going to be surrounded by your competitors / lovers / family; you have to be comfortable in your own skin.
Ultimately, our lives are affected by the choices / decision we make.
Every dream starts small, but we must have the courage and self-belief to start being a better human being or building a better career and well-being life.

You never know what life will hold. Life can change with a single phone call and that is the importance of living everyday to the fullest and being extraordinary today and giving your best to each work day, telling your family/ lovers / friends how important they are today and living with a great sense of passion and savouring every moment beacuse you don't know what tomorow will bring.
Wanna to be a person who lived, loved, failed, risked, doubted himself/herself greatly but had a great time and spent his/her life on a worthy cause.

So, FEAR does a matter to you?

Fear is the number 1 factor that prevents people from achieving greatness. We should never run away from our fears but rather, we should run towards them. Behind every door of fear lies a precious gift.
~ Robin Sharma~

When i was 18....

Alamak!! This time tagged by Gracie to do this meme...:P
When i was 18... hmm.... suddenly i feel so old liao....*refresh my memory*
To write about the popular songs that i listened to when i was 18..M-A-D-N-E-S-S!! Wondering that do i have short-term memory lost huh?

So,let’s start with The Rules first.

  1. Go to www.popculturemadness.com
  2. Select the year you turn 18 (you can see the list on the left side of the page or just type in
the year you were 18 in thegoogle search bar)
  3. Get nostalgic over the songs of the year
  4. Write aboutit
  5. Pass the tag to 5 other people

Yo-hu! When i was 18, craved for freedom!! Finally i got it, to be alone came to this stranger place, KL for study. Get to know bunch of friends (enlarge my social circle), hang out around in
town. Friends intro me some nice songs, brought me to club, etc. Thus,i couldn't live without my mini portable radio with me. My beloved papa bought me a portable mini radio, No music No life!
However, i don't have any special preference towards singers and songs, as long as suit my mood of the day, so its gonna rock my soul! Some of the songs i not even can remember who sang it and the title...la la la...ok now need to be in a wistful mood...to recall back the song list... :P

Just share some of the songs i like to listen to ..when i was 18... (",)

  1. My heart will go on - Celine Dion ( that time TITANIC was a HIT, so her song gonna to be HOT too!)
  2. Tearing up my heart - N*Sync (gals get crazy about this group of boys who are cute and can dance!)
  3. The boy is mine - Brandy & Monica (One of my course mate everyday sang this song till i wanna get sick jor..while she was so in love mood)
  4. Candle in the wind - Elton John (Terrified news that Princess Diana passed away! Elton John dedicated this song for her)
  5. Never ever - All saints (hot babes song....)
  6. Truly, Madly, Deeply - Savage Garden (Fan of S.G, their song is ROCK!)
  7. All my life - Kc & Jojo (on the radio always can get this song, i mean back in 1998 :P)
  8. I Don't Want To Miss A Thing - Aerosmith (Movie's theme song, majority guys love it!)
  9. Turn back time - Aqua (How i wish can turn back time ....but it seems impossible tho..)
  10. As long as you me - Backstreet Boy (wahlao! that time Backstreet Boy was a piece of hot cake in the market to capture girl's heart!)
There are still lots of songs if i still would like to go on and on, i shall put a full stop here. A nice song always be one the good remedy to cure my mood swing moment.
Listening to the right song which can act as soothing remedy to tame my emo and tell me clearly how i feel (from the lyric) at that critical moment, the right song to shake off all the worries, the right song to put me on bed, the right song for the right person at the right time..

Okie, i gonna to tag people now, (hehehe...) they are....

Cracked pot ~ Imperfections

An elderly Chinese woman had two large pots, each hung on the ends of a pole which she carried across her neck.

One of the pots had a crack in it while the other pot was perfect and always delivered a full portion of water.

At the end of the long walks from the stream to the house, the cracked pot arrived only half full.

For a full two years this went on daily, with the woman bringing home only one and a half pots of
water.

Of course , the perfect pot was proud of its accomplishments.

But the poor cracked pot was ashamed of its own imperfection, and miserable that it could only do half of what it had been made to do.

After two years of what it perceived to be bitter failure, it spoke to the woman one day by the stream "I am ashamed of myself, because this crack in my side causes water to leak out all the way back to your house."

The old woman smiled, "Did you notice that there are flowers on your side of the path, but not on the other pot's side?"

"That's because I have always known about your flaw, so I planted flower seeds on your side of the path, and every day while we walk back, you water them."

"For two years I have been able to pick these beautiful flowers to decorate the table.

Without you being just the way you are, there would not be this beauty to grace the house."

Each of us has our own unique flaw. But it's the cracks and flaws we each have that make our lives together so very interesting and rewarding.

You've just got to take each person for what they are and look for the good in them.

SO, to all of my crackpot friends, have a great day and remember to smell the flowers on your side of the path!

Meal of the day!!

Finally i found my most 'wanted' item Balsamico at Isetan, went to KLCC with Emily for a shopping spree. LOL! Broke badly. Don't ask me why!?

Sunday ....la la la...the laziest day of the week, rolling on the bed, was thinking what to eat for the day.. Oh yeah! i want to cook meal of the day for myself!

Opened the fridge, grabbed the ingredients i wanted to use.
I gonna to cook chicken salad with balsamico dressing!!
Firstly, marinated the chicken breast with italian herbs, splash of orange juice, bit sesame oil, pepper powder and bit HP sauce. Then folded aluminium foil as a little insert for the chicken breast, put inside the oven roast it for 20 min.
After 20 min, voila! chicken breast has been well cooked, took it out from the oven cut into cubes, served with mixed green salad, olive oil and balsamic vinegar. If you want some mayonnaise, may add some ...:P

Something for we all to think and to learn from a Humble Pencil.

It tells that everything you do will leave a mark.
You can always correct mistakes.
What is important, is what inside and not outside of you.

I got TAG!!!

Tagged Things

Rules: Each player of this game starts out by giving 6 weird things about themselves. People who get tagged need to write in a blog of their own 6 weird things as well as state the rules clearly. In the end, you need to choose 6 people to be tagged and list their names. After you do that, leave them each a comment letting them know you tagged them and to read your blog!

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

I was tagged by Patchay quite sometimes ago and I shall reveal 6 weird things about Me ...OMG!
(I doubt that i 've been tagged twice for this???)

1. I will scratching my head, pulling my hair randomly when i've nothing to do.

2. I love to collect nice paper bags & boxes, consider as junk.

3. I will sing inside my car during driving on the road.

4. I have weird nicknames given by my friends. i.e. piglet, choc, tofu, jojo, ice-cream,panda...

5. I will forward mails to friends randomly. Sick of me yet?

6. I talk to myself sometimes....

That's all for now.

I need to tag another 6 persons. Their job is to write something like Me, 6 weird things about themselves. (Follow the rules above)
