i think this is very true.. especially in the Asia society...

the parents are pushing kids to excel in school.. then in high school then pressure further to excel in university.. either is a matter of 'face' or their of 'for your own good'..

then they will push their kids into marriage, saying 'not young anymore' and the competition to have kids begin...

and then we work our ass off for the kids and the hoping when retire when we get enough cash for the kids and ourselves...

and then when we are dying, hoping we have enough insurance to cover that...

very typical cycle of life... and we must break that!

hhmm... think i post this comment as a blog and post that pic up too... giving u an acknowledgement for that, kekeke..

@ Pikey, how to break the chain of life? cynically, we still have to bear with it. coz majority are brought up with tat kind of mind set, but again, nowadays lots of modern generation, still remain some good points, excel in stucy, great achievement in career, failure in relationship but happily live after like that with no kid.
tat's very invidual perception towards life, it's up to us to decide our life journey tho.. but the elderly always push us up to our limit and force us to follow their old style. what da heck?

Dear God I hope my life isn't like that but it's becoming to be and it scares the hell out of me.
