Another forwarded mail....
Today i received another forwarded email from my frenz...
Kinda nice to share....
A friend of mine opened his wife's underwear drawer and picked up a silk paper wrapped package:
"This, - he said - isn't any ordinary package." He **unwrapped** the box and stared at both the silk paper and the box.
She got this the first time we went to New York , 8 or 9 years ago. She has never put it on, was saving it for a special occasion. Well, I guess this is it. He got near the bed and placed the gift box next to the other clothings he was taking to the funeral house, his wife had just died. He turned to me and said:
"Never save something for a special occasion. Every day in your life is a special occasion".
I still think those words changed my life.
Now I read more and clean less.
I sit on the porch without worrying about anything.
I spend more time with my family, and less at work.
I understood that life should be a source of experience to be lived up to, not survived through.
I no longer keep anything.
I use crystal glasses every day..
I'll wear new clothes to go to the supermarket, if i feel like it.
I don't save my special perfume for special occasions, I use it whenever I want to.
The words "Someday..." and "One Day..." are fading away from my dictionary.
If it's worth seeing, listening or doing, I want to see, listen or do it now.
I don't know what my friend's wife would have done if she knew she wouldn't be there the
next morning, this nobody can tell.
I think she might have called her relatives and closest friends. She might call old friends to make peace over past quarrels. I'd like to think she would go out for Chinese, her favorite food.
It's these small things that I would regret not doing, if I knew my time had come. I would regret it, because I would no longer see the friends I would meet, letters... that I wanted to write "One of these days". I would regret and feel sad, because I didn't say to my brother and sisters,**
**son** **and** **daughters,** **not times** **enough at least, how** **much**I love them. Now, I try not to delay, postpone or keep anything that could bring laughter and joy into our lives.. And, on each morning, I say to myself that this could be a special day..
Each day, each hour, each minute, is special.
If you got this, it's because someone cares for you and because, probably, there's someone you care about.
If you're too busy to send this out to other people and you say to yourself that you will send it One of these days, remember that "One day" is far away... or might never come...
Kinda nice to share....
Another forward?! but i think u should read on coz i choose to share this with you
a very touching story....
how could i let i just pass without me sharing with you all...
i myself have felt a loss.... and there were many times when i myself said "one day..."

Korean BBQ
Edwin, Daphene & I went to Korean BBQ restaurant at Desa Sri Hartamas. It was my first time try out the typical korean food, so excited! ^o^
There 4 Korean restaurant there, Edwin recommented one of them. Hence, we went to Daorae Korean BBQ restaurant located at Plaza Crystal Ville Center - Level 1.
The moment we stepped in, Wow! almost full house.
The restaurant is pretty neat and clean, simple design with yellow paint wall.
Once we are been seated and start to pick the items from the menu - a la carte.
We ordered ox tougue, marinated chicken and kimchee soup with meat and vegetables.
Wow! so many side dishes to be served, let me count.... 1,2,3.... total 10 types of side dishes (condiments)...sweet bean, beansprout, seaweed, anchovies, fruits salad, spinach, radish pickled, kimchi, french bean, vege miso soup...etc.. and side dishes can be refilled. :p
The service was very attentive! The server did the BBQ for us, we just seat there 'observed' and wait for our food to be ready. The ox tongue was fabulous! dip with 3 different type of sauce (pls lah..dun ask me what sauce yeah, coz i also duno..:P) then wrap with lettuce and garlic...just munch and chew it! so juicy!! The chicken fillet took so long time to cook, Aww...
After finished up all the side dishes and meat, 'tang...tang..tang...' the big pot of kimchi soup with meat and vegetables was ready to served, wow..with noodle as well. I saw it so big portion, bit freak out! The end of the day, we can't finish it. Thanks god we canceled the egg pancake. We should blame Daphane, coz she ordered this. Next time should ban her for ordering. Our last dinner also facing the same scenario, she loves to order this n that, end up can't finish, we all become 'culprit' have to help to digest all!! so DAMN full! ~*burp~ (excuse me!)
It was a good try on Korean food, just simply delicious! i like it so much!
Anyone interested to go, can call 03-62032616 the restaurant contact number. The boss is very friendly, he knows what to recommend and provides warm welcome to the guest. :)

Clubbing
Phew...such a long time didn't go clubbing...aging..
yeah...i been stop going to club for couple of years.
most of my clubbing buddies been attached, seldom hang out, so no fun go alone as well. what to do? getting old already, after work just plenty of tireness.
Couple of days ago, my dearie brought me to Loft, kinda a new place to me where located next to Sheraton Imperial hotel. Those shop lots...
We suppose went bowling, but unfortunately closed for renovation, end up had coffee at coffee bean. After all, this party animal dearie wanna go have some music. So we end up at Loft. It plays R&B music, decent place for dance and drinks. It was a lady night. Can catch up some chics..fuiyo.. but chic normally came with man..so hopeless for pick up point. :P
We were sitting at bar area enjoyed our drinks and chatting with chris. Listening to some nice music, whole night only Clement enjoyed the most and shake his body with the music. :)
Tonight Jchanet called me up for 'yum cha' session, so i just dress up very casual one..We went mamak for drink with her frenz. Out of expectation, dearie wanna go to Bangsar Flam, so we met up there. It was packed and noisy, Jchanet's frenz, Peter leads us to the wrong Flame..it was closed..aiyo..restaurant of coz closed early what. End up walked up another stree, finally found the Flam bar.Hahaha..
Clement & Chris opened bottle of Jack daniel, five of us finished up half bottle of it. Shaked our butt ..sweat it out..enjoyed the music..imagine that Chris can almost fall asleep there...LOL
Such a long time never been to such a happening place to dance, what a night for me..tiring..smelly...coz ppl smoked inside there..nah..what do u expect then?
Anyway, it's fun to hang out with bunch of frenz and release out some frust..chilled out!!

How open minded are you?
You Are 68% Open Minded |
You are a very open minded person, but you're also well grounded. Tolerant and flexible, you appreciate most lifestyles and viewpoints. But you also know where you stand firm, and you can draw that line. You're open to considering every possibility - but in the end, you stand true to yourself. |

Steamboat again~~
Last night went steamboat with Alice & Toby, they intro me a new type of steamboat at Taman Desa (near Alice's place). She told me is Taiwanese style, i not so sure about this. Bit difficult to find parking space, end up parked behind the shop, the funny thing was the shop has 2 entrance, one is front another is back, we used the back entrance whereby i can't see the shop name. So dun ask me what's the shop name??? :P
The shopkeeper gave us a choice for table seating, rectangular table with big steamboat stone bowl or individual seat with mini steamboat stone bowl at island table. We opt for the island table seating. Wow...is fun to see something different.
As for the menu, we have set menu selections and a la carte choice. The set selections price range is from RM17.90 - RM40 over, a la carte price range is from RM2 - RM22. Affordable price. :)
For set selections, there are choice of beef, lamb, pork , chicken and seafood. I ordered lamb set with vegetables. Alice had a la carte, very simply choice with 2 vegetables and tofu. Her hubby, Toby ordered pork set with vegetables.
Alice showed me how to do DIY dip....they will provide us a bowl of Sacha sauce, then DIY session with instruction signage (steps): put vinegar, light soy sauce, chopped garlic, chopped red chilli, parsley, chopped red chilli, chopped spring onion, chilli powder, special chilli sauce. Voila! here you go with the special dip. I'm sure u can't resist it as well! It taste absolutely YUMMY!
The boss came to our table, do small presentation...guess what?
He put a half moon stainless steel cover to cover up our steamboat and stove, simply stir fried the meat with onion, smell damn nice! the meat is half done, then set aside..he poured water into our stone bowl and let it boil. So we start our steamboat session, grab the meat, fish ball, meat ball, beancurd skin, corn, kani crab stick, golden enoki mushroom and vegetables put into the stone bowl. The meat goes very well with the special sauce, fabulous taste! I almost finished the whole bowl of the sacha sauce.
Guess what? This morning i was suffering stomach upset bcoz i ate too much of chilli!! Arghhhhhhhhhhhhhh...... *pls dun laff at me, ok?*
I keep going on and off to washroom for the whole god sake morning!!
It 's the outcome i get after a good food indulgence. *LMAO*
